Dear Colleagues and Hand Therapists,

Since November 2010, when we were elected for organising the 13th IFSSH Congress in 2016, we have been working hard to put together the best possible scientific programme (with more than 120 speakers) and very attractive social events for you to experience an unforgettable Congress.

It is the first time that the IFSSH Congress will take place in South America and therefore it will be a unique opportunity to share our Latin American culture.

New modalities have been incorporated for this Congress.  “The Federations´ Contest” will be a competition among the four regional Federations (Asian Pacific, European, North American and South American). “The Classics” is a space where we have asked the original authors of knowledge that has passed the proof of time to explain to us how the “creative process” worked in their particular case.  Finally, we are organising six \"Museums\" that will be exhibited during the Congress for you to enjoy: Anatomical Dissections, Hand Anatomy Drawings, The Hand in the Renaissance, The Hand in the Evolution, Hands in Animals and Hands in Philately. 

Also you may decide to explore amazing tourism (pre and post Congress) to Patagonia, Iguazu Falls, Mendoza´s wine route and the Northwest with the Inca culture.

We will be happy to “Welcome” you and celebrate together the IFSSH 50th Anniversary with a lot of Malbec wine, good beef and tango dancing.
