$\"\"$       Dear colleagues and friends,
        The 3rd Congress of Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Reconstructive Microsurgery （APFSRM) in conjunction with the annual Meeting of Chinese Microsurgery Society will be held on June 2-5, 2016 in Beijing, China. On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committees of the Congress, I sincerely welcome you to participate in the meeting.
        APFSRM, founded in 2012 in Singapore, is an organization advancing the specialty of reconstructive microsurgery in the Asia Pacific region. It provides great opportunities of communication and exchange of knowledge between surgeons by organizing scientific meetings. The 1st and 2nd meetings of APFSRM were successfully held in Singapore and Korea, respectively. In 2016, the 3rd meeting will be held in Beijing ,China. This meeting will focus on the most up-to-date research and clinical achievements in the field of reconstructive microsurgery, including breast reconstruction, lymphatic surgery, bone repair and reconstruction, replantation and reconstruction of hand and others, upper and lower extremities reconstruction, flaps surgery, head and neck reconstruction, peripheral nerve injury, and so on. As the President of APFSRM, I am sure it will be rich and fruitful in each of its aspects, both scientific and convivial.
        Beijing is the nation’s political, economic, cultural and educational center as well as China’s most important center for international trade and communications. It has been the heart and soul of politics and society throughout its long history and consequently. The city has a great number of well equipped and high quality hotels as well as conference centers to support this grand meeting.
        It will be a spectacular congress in a wonderful country rich with culture and strong heritage in reconstructive microsurgery. Welcome to the 3rd Congress of APFSRM, Welcome to Beijing!
