Golden Jubilee Congress of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association(APOA) AND 7th Congress of the Asia Pacific Knee Society(APKS) October 3-6, 2012 The Ashok-Samrat Hotel Complex, New Delhi, INDIA Guideline for Abstract Submission | Formats and Selection Process of Presentations | - Oral, poster, video and case presentations are invited from delegates.
- Abstract is required to be submitted in the below mentioned format (see Abstract Submission format & Sample Abstract). The abstract (Abstract Submission) is required for any type of presentation (Oral/Poster/Video).
- Deadline for submission of the abstract: 24th June 2012 .
| | | Oral Presentations : | - The Oral presentation shall be made in power point format. Each oral presentation will be of ten minutes duration divided into six minutes presentation followed by four minutes of discussion.
- Standard computerized projection facility will be provided in each hall.
- Only LCD projection is allowed. Slide carousels will not be available.
- The presentation must be handed over in suitable format to central projection and preview room 6 hours before the particular session.
- Use of personal laptops and member devices will not be allowed for presentation inside the hall.
- The projection will stop at 6 minutes automatically hence prepare presentations accordingly.
| | | Poster Presentations : | - The posters will be displayed as E-Posters, in PowerPoint format, on computers under various category headings. The visiting delegate can search for any author(s), category, title, or specific poster on E-Poster computer portal. Please submit no more than eight slides for your poster. All the accepted posters will have to be mailed in PowerPoint format to the secretariat by 31st August 2012.
| Video Presentations :- Each video presentation shall be no more than 10 minutes. The videos will be displayed on computers under various category headings. The visiting delegate can search for any author(s), category, title, or specific video on video computer portal. Please submit video presentation in computer compatible format. All the accepted videos will have to be submitted to the secretariat by 31st August 2012. Please mail your CD/DVD to the secretariat address so that it reaches by 31st August 2012.
Method of Abstract submission : - The abstract has to be submitted through website www.apoa2012.com.
- Select any one format for each presentation: Paper/Poster/Video/ Case Presentation. The research/study can be presented only in any ONE format (paper, poster or video). The Scientific Committee will take the indicated preference into consideration, but does not guarantee choice of format.
- If you wish to submit your work in Video format please use the same abstract form indicating the 밮ideo Presentation� option.
- Please complete abstract form to select presentation method, choose a category and give full financial disclosure if any.
- All knee related abstracts would be auto submitted to the APOA. All correspondence will be delivered via email, therefore, is mandatory that you provide a valid email address when you submit an abstract. Abstracts submitted via fax or post will NOT be accepted.
