GREETING FROM JSSH
Dear members of APFSSH
We are happy to announce today a new fellowship sponsored
by the Japanese Society for Surgery of the Hand (JSSH).
It was born by the efforts of Professor IKUTA, ex-president of the 5th APFSSH,
and with the unanimous agreement of the Board.
As he explained in the greeting, the congress left some surplus.
President IKUTA and The JSSH Board of directors discussed
how to make best use of it, and came to the conclusion that it will sponsor
a new fellowship. It is named “Japan Hand Fellowship” and
open to young willing hand surgeons who are interested in the hand surgery in Japan.
It can provide the fee for transportation and hotel, and opportunity to present a paper
in the JSSH meeting. Any doctor from the APFSSH countries can apply
with the application form and the recommendation letter.
We hope that many young hand surgeons will apply for this fellowship
and those who are selected will have a meaningful time with us here in Japan.
We look forward to your application.
Best wishes,
Takaya MIZUSEKI, MD Director, International Committee
Ryogo NAKAMURA, MD President Japanese Society for Surgery of the Hand
