Chang Gung Workhorse Flap Course
We invite you to join the second Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Master Series Course featuring Professor Fu-Chan Wei. From its fruition, the Chang Gung plastic and reconstructive surgery department has been dedicated to restoring form and function while advancing the field of microsurgery. This Master Series Course aims to distill a lifetime of surgical experience into a two-day instructional course for surgeons wanting to advance their proficiency.
The course will focus on flaps that can be harvested from the lower extremity. These flaps are the workhorse flaps for soft tissue and bony reconstruction, particularly for the head and neck. Instead of demonstrating an exhaustive number of flaps, this course will focus on mastering the fundamentals elevating flaps. Mastery of these techniques will empower the surgeon to harvest any flap in the body.
